Tulsa-born Joe Machado began his journey in photography with a Kodak Brownie camera bought as a child with a quarter and Corn Flakes coupon. He has since gone from learning photo techniques from his father to applying to the MFA program at TU, with the goal of becoming a college-level teacher of art and photography.
