Allie
received her Art Education Degree from Tulsa University.
She has nearly raised four
children, all of whom are taller than she is now. You may
know her from her day job amidst the beautiful flowers at
Wild Oats. Her dog, Roxy, walks her along the river most mornings.
All of these life aspects find their way into her paintings.
Currently
represented by Zark's Fine Art Gallery in Eureka Springs,
her work has appeared in Watercolor USA and Adirondacks American
Watercolor.
She has also shown work in many local
shows including Art in the Square, & the Mayfest
Invitational.
Public work may be seen
at Emerson Elementary.

Watercolor
is about layers of transparency.
Allie's work is a blend of imagination
and reality. As the viewer peels away the
layers, secondary images may reveal themselves.
Highlights crystallize into gemstones,
a tree limb becomes a human figure, but at the center there
is always a spirit of light.
